Hi guys! So the weather forecast for this weekend called for tons of rain but it decided to hold out and make everyone's Monday morning a bit more exciting than usual.

I woke up at 2 a.m. this morning to tons of lightning and thunder, and then again at 6:30 a.m. to two excited sisters babbling about not going to school today due to flooded roads and highways! My classes got cancelled as well today so we all made a trip to Starbucks to celebrate and I got a first hand glimpse at the craziness!

The rain has FINALLY died down after non-stop downpour from 12 a.m. until about 10 a.m. Unfortunately, the two youngest didn't get to wiggle their way out of school today and it was sad to see them walk off onto their campus with sad faces but hopefully some Starbucks when they get out of school will cheer up their gloomy mood.

I wish everyday were as exciting as today!
