So, if you've been keeping up with my (very infrequent) blog posts, many of you may know that I have recently graduated from my local community college and have received my associates degree. And I've been dropping hints in earlier (and I mean way earlier) blog posts about which college I'll be completing my bachelors degree at. On Instagram a few weeks ago...
On May 15th, 2015 this super excited (and relieved) girl graduated college! For the past two years I have been attending a local community college working toward an associates degree in applied science (Biology) and for a few semesters I was certain that I wouldn't be able to graduate in time but I made it happen! After a semester of working part time,...
(This post was originally written on April 20th so it's a bit outdated so sorry guys!)
Hello friends! Today's blog post is just going to be an update on what the heck has been going on in this crazy life of mine!
(this list is just going to spurt off all the things I can think of and when I first think of them #whoneedschronologicalorder #amiright)
- I am so very proud (and hesitant) to announce that I'm 97.8% sure that I've finally decided on a school! I won't be announcing which school until probably May... or maybe July... or maybe a day before I leave - I haven't quite decided yet.
- My sweet Titan boy is officially ONE YEARS OLD. (I refuse to count in dog years because 7 years old makes me sad and one years old makes me feel like he's still my little puppy (which he is))
- I have lost ____ lbs! I leave that with a fill in the blank because truthfully I weighed myself and saw that I weighed 118 lbs so I celebrated by going back to eating whatever I wanted... also my scale (which has been on the brink of breaking for probably 2 years now) finally broke. So I have no way of weighing myself at the present moment! But since I've started college I think it's safe to say that I've lost 8+ lbs! Wooooohoooooo.
- This is a piggy back from the last bullet point... I put a lot of emphasis on the number on my scale because I am very much a science/math oriented person so I need hard, fast, numbers that I can easily track and keep up with. But I'd like to put even more emphasis on the fact that the number on ANY scale does. not. matter. If you're happy and healthy, then that's all that should matter to anyone. I weigh somewhere around 120 lbs and home girls (and boys) it would take me more than 15 minutes to run/jog/lets-be-honest-i-dont-run a mile. SOOOO, for some people (like me) numbers are important. But for EVERYONE (me too) it shouldn't make a break a positive body image.
- that last bullet took a lot out of me and now my brain is buzzing around the topic of body image and I can't form any more sentences.
So ta-ta for now.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXXXXXOOOOOO,
Me.
March is gone, gone, gone and sweet, sunshine-y April has made it's way to me. Organization. + color coding, sticky notes, notecards, & a planner are a must! + put papers in their designated folders/binders and get into that habit. Otherwise, if you just toss the papers in and tell yourself that you'll organize them later, they usually don't get organized EVER. So make and keep good habits. Preparation. + read chapters AHEAD of time. + if the...
Happy Sunday beautiful people! Today I have a life update for you all because I feel like I haven't done one in while. So today's talk is blessings. Everyday is a blessing and everyday presents every person with dozens of blessings, but sometimes, we don't realize them. We don't appreciate them. We don't take the time out of our days to thank Heavenly...
1: Manage a 4.0 once again this semester! #PresidentsHonorRoll #4PointOBoyz 2: (piggyback from goal #1) Get A's on tests throughout the semester. (Not that I get terrible grades on tests, but I definitely don't take them seriously enough....
So... I filmed a video. #professionalcamera #professionalselfie And that video was about these two lovely products! Basically, I watched MeghanRosette's 2014 favorites video (or was it December favorites?... I can't remember.) BUT, she mentioned a charcoal bar cleanser that she's been using and so obviously I was intriguied. Charcoal? On your face? What in the world???? So, not too long after I was...

Let's be friends. Really, really good friends. Let the next 365 days we have together be full of love and laughter, and sunny days, and rainy days, and hope and joy. Let them be full of lessons to learn, places to go, songs to sing, and people to meet. I know it'd be naive to believe that only good days are ahead of...
