Hi guys! So last night I stayed up until 1 a.m. trying to give my blog a makeover and what ended up happening?... at aroud 12:59 a.m. the entire thing wigged out and I had to essentially delete all my hard work and start all over again. Surprisingly, re-customizing it all over again took about 12 minutes (as opposed to the previous 3 hours it took to do it all before...life is so weird) ANYWAY, I don't work until 4:30 p.m. today so instead of using this precious time to finish my math exam, my philosophy project, and study for my biology test (all due this week) I somehow, someway, came across the most precious (and hilarious) video(s) I think I've ever had the pleasure of seeing... and I think you should see it too. Enjoy.
All week I have been urging myself to write another blog post. I realize that the last one was very sad and it exactly mirrored how I've been feeling - not in general, but in very powerful bursts throughout my past two weeks. But then, something happened...
Recently, I've been seeing a ton of interesting videos on Facebook and because I'm usually on my phone I take a screenshot of the website in hopes that I'll return to the video later (when I actually have time). And so tonight, I did just that.
Now, I'm very mindful of the content I let into my heart and mind. I am so easily swayed by the emotions of others that I have to pay very close attention to what feelings I surround myself with. So, as I was going through the photos on my phone I decided to go ahead and watch the videos I told myself I'd get around to... And each of them were so uplifting and full of so much love and hope. For the past few weeks I have been reminded of how sad and ugly life could be, and while it's important to be aware of the faults of the world it's even more important to surround yourself with the beauty of it.
Mourning is dark and hard and not something you can easily run away from. Something you really shouldn't run away from. Let yourself feel whatever feelings come your way, never bottle them up. And while I'm nowhere near "done" mourning, I'm so grateful for all the beautiful things life has to offer. I'm so much more ready to run with the opportunities I have been given and to inhale all the love I have floating around me. I've been reminded of how brief life is/can be, and I'm going to greedily spend every minute I receive and fill my life with 60 more seconds of love and hope and beauty that I can.
So, here's 130 seconds of love.
I hope and pray that you see this times 2310498390158901483290481239084309218409328439208490231843902184093281 seconds more.
xoxox, me.

Life is such a beautiful, precious, thing... even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it.
And when I get so caught up in the chaos and all the wrong in the world, I don't realize how good I have it just to be given each breath I take.
Today my heart is so, so, so heavy. I can't remember the last time my heart has ever felt this heavy and burdened.
Life is the greatest gift I've ever received and I can't believe I've gone so long not realizing that. Not fully at least... until today.
I hope you all know how loved and precious you all are.
And I hope you all let all the people in your life know how loved and precious they are too.
I hope you're all safe on the roads, and in every other aspect of your life.
Buckle up, tell your motorcyclist friends and loved ones to wear their helmets.
DRIVE SAFE. BE SAFE.

is seriously kicking my butt.
I need more Jesus.
It's like I make up a list of all the things I think would make me happier and in the end every sign is bright and blinking with arrows pointing toward Church and scripture study and prayer and JESUS.
I've been meaning to write to you guys for some time now but like I said, life is kicking my butt.
And rather than dwell on the obstacles I've been hurdling over lately, I'm going to remind myself that, even if just by an inch, I hurdled. I'm hurdling. Every day.
I made it over and through.
And every obstacle placed in front of me never has to be hurdled alone.
A quote has stuck with me lately:
"The gospel is not weight,
it is wings."
Life will stack and stack and stack on the burdens, leaving you with so much more than you can carry.
Don't carry it alone.
I love you all. God is so good, all the time.
And all the time, God is good.
xoxo.
The life of a full-time college kid gets 100x times harder when you throw in a part-time job.
Last fall semester I had a part-time job but I only had classes on Tu/Th... it kicked my butt, still. THIS fall semester I have been recently employed by HomeGoods (I know, freak out. Everything there is too cute.) And I go to school Mon-Thurs... ITS SERIOUSLY KICKING MY BUTT.
I've realized something about myself though... I don't dislike my job, but I seriously dislike the term "job" all together. Like, life is so good when I had three day weekends to sit and relax with family. But I have a feeling life will be good once I get my first check and can finally start spending money again (hallelujah).
And with my first few checks I'm saving up to buy...
- a dSLR camera (so expect high quality pictures and videos YAY!)
- a better blog template (not that I mind the one I have now, but I've seen so many I'm absolutely IN LOVE with and since I'm not a blog whiz (yet) I'll gladly search etsy for the perfect fit.)
- Final Cut Pro (FINALLY.)
So I have a bunch of tech-y good stuff on my wish list which means I'll probably (hopefully) be motivated to be a full-time blogger/youtuber (pray for me.)
Also, HAPPY OCTOBER. Christmas is so close I can taste it! (Egg Nog is already in stores!!!!!!!) The next three months are going to absolutely FLY by and I'm so excited for the holiday season!!!!!!!!
Instagram lately...
