This post was originally meant to be the home of all the cute and fun pictures that I planned to take on Thanksgiving day but..........
I signed up to help decorate the store on Thanksgiving eve! My shift ran from 7pm-3am AFTER I had already worked 8am-4pm THAT SAME DAY... so I ended up sleeping in until 1pm on thanksgiving day :( Wah, wah.
I really didn't regret helping decorate UP UNTIL I woke up, looked at my clock and realized I had missed the whole morning.
I also woke up feeling super sick and sore so getting dressed and photo ready was not an option haha.
BUT, I am still so thankful.
So thankful that my family let me sleep in after an 18 hour work day.
So thankful that I woke up to lots of love.
So thankful that dinner was already ready... haha.
And SO thankful for another super loving thanksgiving with my family.
I'm always so highly aware the next year, or the year after or just sometime in the future that it won't be as easy to get us all together - so I'm trying to make the most of the upcoming holidays that we do have!
I hope you all had a sweet thanksgiving you guys! I promise I'll do better for Christmas... ;)

1. My family.
this year especially has taught me how to love my family and trust that they know/want was is best for me, even when I can't see it for myself. I've learned to TREASURE every moment because I know how fast we're all growing and moving in different directions so I've been trying to make the sweet moments sweeter, and to help those sweet moments last.

2. The church.
I can't tell you how many times I've been sent some kind of "sign" or prompting whenever I've had doubt or hurt in my heart. I am AMAZED at how mysteriously God works in all the best ways.

3. The roof over my head.
Seriously. With all the disaster in the world (environmental and otherwise) I'm so thankful to have been given a home. A loving home. A safe home.

4. The luxury of going to school and learning more/something new every day.
This kind of piggy-backs off of my point above... I am so freaking blessed to get to live in a first world country where education and teachable moments are available to me every.single.day and right at my fingertips.

5. My health.
6. Having AC, running water, enough food to eat.
7. Thankful that I've been given so much and that I can share my love with others.
THE MOST IMPORTANT! I am SO STINKIN thankful that I have been given a heart that is full of love and kindness and that God helps me learn to share and spread it with others. I am CONFIDENT that the one thing that will save the planet is love. That's all it takes. And I'm glad that I get it in such abundance that I'm able to spread it in the same way. So, so, so, stinking lucky - and thankful.

Apple pie: fondest childhood memory?
- Going to the park everyday after school to wait for my mom to get off of work!
Autumn: What is your favorite thing about Fall?
- EVERYTHING, seriously. I love autumn so much.
Baste: Favorite scent?
- Really big on clean and "cozy" scents, but also anything that smells like trees/forest (PINE) is MY FAVE.
Cranberry Sauce: What's the one thing you can't leave the house without?
- Phone.
Drumstick: If you could go back in time and live in any time period you want, which period would you choose?
- I think the late 80s - early 90s.
Feast: One food you don't like sharing with others?
- ANY drink, it grosses me out too much, haha.
Family: Who is the person you are closest to?
- Hmm.
Gobble: Are you better at talking or listening?
- Listening.
Gravy: What kind of food can you not live without?
- Spicy, for sure.
Ham: Funniest joke you've ever heard?
- AHHH, too much pressure.
Harvest: Do you hoard anything? If so, what is it?
- Definitely hoard pins/buttons and SWEATERS. Used to hoard stationary but that's long over, haha.
Corn on the Cob: Do you like a little mess in your life or do you prefer things to be neat and tidy?
- NEAT AND TIDY. Not even a question, haha.
Mashed Potatoes: What is something that always brings you comfort when you are sad?
- Music.
Native American: What culture fascinates you most?
- ALL OF THEM.
November: Favorite time of the year?
- Oct through April.
Pumpkin Pie: What is one kind of dessert you could eat everyday and never get tired of it?
- None, not a big sweet tooth kind of person!
Pilgrim: If you could rule over any country, which country would you rule over?
- Hmm, I think I'd want to invent my own little magical country.
Rolls: Do you think you're a selfish person in any way?
- Lots of ways.
Stuffing: Are you happy with your body image?
- Most of the time.
Sweet Potato Casserole: Weirdest food combination you've ever tried?
- I eat the WEIRDEST things that I don't think they're weird any more until someone points it out to me; so I'm not sure, lol.
Squash: Your biggest disappointment?
- Letting things get to my heart a lot more than they should. Putting important things aside for "love".
Turkey: The stupidest thing you've ever done?
- Hhahahahahahahah.
Yams: How would you describe your sense of humor?
- Super random and super stupid, haha.
- Going to the park everyday after school to wait for my mom to get off of work!
